On 24 November 2023, an announcement was made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in China - starting from 1 December 2023 until 30 November 2024, passport holders from Malaysia as well as five other European countries can enter and stay in China without a visa for 15 days.

 

What does this mean in terms of travel restrictions into China? If all goes well, that officially means that Malaysians can travel visa-free into China for the next one year, starting this December! All travellers under this visa-free scheme are allowed to sightsee and explore China, visit friends or family, conduct business, and transit through the country, as long as it is within a 15-day period.
